Do you find any theatrical value in religious fundamentalism?
For instance isn't it really ugly and dark yet fascinating and interesting at the same time. Even more fascinating are those who choose to continue believing these beliefs and rebel against them. Probably one of the most fascinating pieces of artwork dealing with this was the insert on Marilyn Manson's "A Portrait of An American Family" CD as well as some of his earlier stuff. What about the Movie Carrie. Anyways you probably know what I am talking about. I have my own beliefs way outside the mainstream when it comes to religion, but in a way even though he was an Athiest (didn't believe in spirituality, meditation, etc) Anton Leveys Satanic Bible is a good piece of modern Artwork as well. What do you guys think, things like fundamentalism go deep into that mindset where black and white is all that exists, and give us a reminder of a slim slice of time known as the dark ages where such concepts were often portrayed.
