Do you find any theatrical value in religious fundamentalism?

For instance isn't it really ugly and dark yet fascinating and interesting at the same time. Even more fascinating are those who choose to continue believing these beliefs and rebel against them. Probably one of the most fascinating pieces of artwork dealing with this was the insert on Marilyn Manson's "A Portrait of An American Family" CD as well as some of his earlier stuff.
