Hunting Beagle owners! I need your Help.?

Ok well I just turned 18. Yeah I know just an age when you still live with your parents. Well my friends dog at school just had some pups. they will be 6 weeks on tuesday. I asked my dad if I could get one. He said it didn't look good but didn't actually tell me no. This dog will be a male and will be used for hunting. We have 2 beagles that hunt now and a lab as a family pet. I need some ways to convince him to let me get the dog. The way is goin now is im goin to tell him the day before I bring it home that im goin to be bringin my dog home. I have the money for it. and will take full responsibility in training it to hunt and so forth. I just need some more excuses. I need a dog of my own and our beagles are gettin old. It will be used to rabbit hunt with the others. Thanks for the Help. (:
