Does gay marriage threaten the sanctity of your previous two or three marriages, or just your current one?

*giggles* I got engaged to my wife shortly before my grandfather died. Because he was very sick, I felt obligated to visit him lots. He'd ask me to take off my engagement ring (we both have them, and wedding bands, too) because "it's as fake as a Cracker Jack ring. Real marriages are a sacred thing, and you're fooling around with it." He had been married six times to five different women and almost reeled in wife number six. I just laughed and said, "Look, you mean ol' man, you don't have to look at it if you don't like it. Now how are you doing?" Eventually, he got it.
